How we work together

Peace of Mine is a small shop at 408 W 71st Street in Englewood, Chicago. Everything we make is prepped fresh, so a few simple policies help us take care of everyone. Booking a session, ordering meal prep or placing an order means you've read and agreed to these.

Nutrition coaching

  • Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your session so the time can go to someone else.
  • No-shows and cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are non-refundable.
  • One courtesy reschedule is included with every program if something comes up.
  • Three-week programs can be paid up front (12% off) or week to week. If you need to stop early, we'll refund any sessions not yet provided, less the cost of any food already prepared for you.
  • Renewals: let us know at least 7 days before your program ends if you'd like to continue, so we can hold your spot.
  • Coaching is nutrition education and support, not medical care. Talk with your doctor before changing medications or treating a diagnosed condition.

Meal prep

  • Order 72 hours ahead. We shop and cook to order, so meal prep needs at least three days' lead time.
  • Non-refundable once purchased or once we've started prepping your food.
  • Missed pickups are held for 24 hours. After that the food can't be kept safely and the order is not refunded.
  • Plans are built around what you tell us. Let us know about allergies and dietary needs when you order; see our allergen note for how our kitchen works.

Shop and online orders

  • Pickup orders are placed through Toast; delivery orders through DoorDash or Uber Eats. Their prices, fees and refund processes apply to those orders.
  • Something wrong with an order? Tell us the same day and we'll make it right.
  • Prices and menu items change with the season and may differ between in-store, pickup and delivery.

PB&J Fridays

Free snack bags for kids in pre-K through 8th grade, Fridays 3–6PM during the school year, while supplies last. A parent or guardian signs up, and kids in 2nd grade and under come with a grown-up. Full details are on our About page.

Exceptions

Life happens. If something outside your control gets in the way, reach out and we'll review it individually. Email [email protected] or call (773) 675-8075.
